HAMMER REPORT
We train to compete.
When you hear the phase “I am an adaptive athlete the thought of that person being a competitive athlete isn’t always the first thing that comes to mind.
Well, Wodapalooza has really changed that thought process. It’s now been 3 years since the adaptive division was first implemented into mainstream competition and it has changed for the better!
Today was day one of three and to see 40 athletes of all different abilities compete in their respective divisions was amazing.
If there’s one take away I hope spectators walk away with it’s the importance of holding athletes to a standard. Adaptive or not, when a person is held to a clear and high standard they are more apt to perform at their highest potential.
Today all the jitters were set free, the nerves calmed down and athletes got to work! I couldn’t be more proud of all of our adaptive athletes.
Each rep completed is proof that we are here. We are here to work, here to compete and here to stay!
