ALL RX DIVISION SCORES MUST BE SUBMITTED WITH JUDGES VERIFICATION AND A COPY OF VIDEO MUST BE AVAILABLE UPON REQUEST. 

WheelWOD will Adapt the CrossFit.com Open for the 3rd Year. Adapted workouts will be posted following night of weekly open announcements and movement standards released with the adapted standards. 

ALL RX DIVISION SCORES MUST BE SUBMITTED WITH VIDEO VERIFICATION. 

Movement standards will be written & video along with strategy & breakdown on the Friday posting . This will allow Saturday and Sunday to be used to complete the Workout. Post videos to FB, Youtube, Twitter or IG and tag us @wheelwod and we will share your fitness! #WheelwodNation #WheelWOD

Rules & Regulations

The week’s workout is released each Friday at 5 p.m. EST. Each time a workout is released, athletes will be given two versions: Rx’d and Scaled. With reduced loading or less challenging movements, the Scaled option will be designed to be accessible to the vast majority of athletes who train any regime. Rx’d will challenge the world’s elite.

all athletes & judges MUST Review the standards before you start before you start any work out.

You can complete the workouts without a judge and film your performance from anywhere you want and submit a link as proof.

Make sure to submit your score before score submissions close each Monday at 11 p.m. EST. Late submissions will NOT be accepted.

There are many ways to excel in the WheelWOD Open. The WheelWOD Open will be the qualifier to determine the fittest adaptive man and woman worldwide in seated & standing divisions.

The Open is the start to qualifier for the WheelWod Championships and Spartan Division of crossroads WWG 2018. The world’s adaptive fittest men & women in Seated Division will compete for the chance to advance with the ultimate goal of making it to WheelWOD Championships hosted by the UGSeries Beach WOD world stage at Wasaga Beach Ontario, Canada 2017 July. The world’s adaptive fittest men & women in Standing Division will compete for the chance to advance with the ultimate goal of making it to the Working Wounded Games Spartan Division 2017 hosted by the crossroads adaptive alliance.

However in 2017, for scaled division, the Open is not about trying to earn a title or qualify for the next stage of the season. It’s about joining the global CrossFit community in a celebration of fitness for a few weeks each year. To connect to others world apart through the experience of suffering through the same workout at the same time. It lets you revel at the strength and skills you’ve developed over the past year, and learn what you need to improve.

TO REMAIN IN THE RX LEADER BOARD YOU MUST COMPLETE 1 REP OF EVERY RX ADAPTED WOD. 

THE TOP 12 MALE AND 8 FEMALE OF THIS YEARS  RX DIVISIONS WILL BE AUTOMATICALLY QUALIFY FOR THIS SUMMERS WHEELWOD CHAMPIONSHIPS (SEATED)  & WWG SPARTAN DIVISION (STANDING).

Seated Rx Weights & Movements

Standing Lower Rx Weights & Movements

All movements will be ¼ squat lower athletes

Standing Upper Rx Weights & Movements

All movements will be full squat for Upper athletes, unless classified as “power”.

(single arm athletes may choose DB/KB or barbell for lifts , DB weights will be done 1 arm only and will be calculated at 65% (or closest to) barbell weight.)
