Today’s report is a little more personal. A Thank you note to my body if you will. I hope anyone reading this is reminded how important it is to keep your body as fine tuned as possible because you never know when you’re going to need it to work some serious overtime.
I can’t even begin to tell you how excited I am to have a another chance at life with you. I know the last 215 days have not been the most fun, and definitely put you through the ringer, but I must say I’m extremely impressed with how strong you were able to stay during our fight. Many people thought we were crazy and would make all sorts of comments as we started spending more and more time in the gym, but I’m so glad we did because little did we know you were going to need those strong muscles to save my life.
The doctor would tell me week after week that my body “Might start to (add side affect)”, but I knew you better than that and we didn’t have time for set backs. Some people’s body’s would have loved to take an 8 month vacation; not mine and I couldn’t be more grateful. We make one hell of a team. I promise to continue to take care of you the best way I know how, just as I know you have done for me. You are CANCER FREE and I’m ready to get back to work.
Thank you for never giving up on me, working overtime and giving me reason to celebrate.
Love your Human,
